How to Message Dribbble Designers From Their Profile
If a designer is interested in new work opportunities, you'll see a ‘Get in Touch’ button listed on their profile.
No 'Get in Touch’ button?
Head to their 'About' section to send them a DM through social media, or use the contact form on their portfolio website. If there are no contact details, this likely means the designer is not interested in new opportunities or has not yet set up their work preferences. We suggest checking back at a later date.
Can you share a designer's contact details with me?
For security reasons, we cannot share any user data, including email addresses.
What types of messages can I send?
On Dribbble, you can reach out to designers for job opportunities, for personal communication, or for detailed questions about their work. To understand what types of messages are allowed, which may be blocked, and how our mediation works, check out our Message Mediation article.
Want to send a great work inquiry? Here are some tips on writing engaging messages:
- Please personalize the messages you send—don’t send boilerplate messages. They tend to feel impersonal and lack the detail necessary to be appealing. Always use the designer's name.
- Please make sure the designer you’re contacting is a good fit for your job or project, as indicated by the work, bio, and skills on their profile. Many designers also declare the type of work they’re interested in creating in their hiring statement—so make sure your message conforms with their stated preferences.
- Tell them why you think they are a good fit and explain what you find compelling about the designer’s work on Dribbble.
- Have a specific job or project in mind: Don’t ask if someone is looking for new opportunities or if anyone they know is looking for new opportunities. You must have a specific job or project and state it in the message.
- If available, include the desired timeline and budget for the project.
