What is a Prospect?
Invited (drafted) members are called Players. Members who would like to share their work but have not been drafted are called Prospects. Anyone can sign up to find, follow, or hire designers at Dribbble. However, any work you share on Dribbble will remain private (visible only on your profile) until you have received an invitation from a community member.
By going Pro, you won’t need to wait for an invitation.
Do I need to list myself as a Prospect?
No, all accounts on Dribbble are eligible to receive an invitation. There is no specific setting you need to enable before being able to accept an invite.
How does a Prospect become a Player?
By receiving an invitation! We periodically issue invitations to existing Players who, in turn, use those to draft (invite) new Players to post their work on Dribbble. If a Player chooses to draft a Prospect, an email is sent with a URL to accept or decline the invitation.
How do I accept a Dribbble invitation?
When someone sends you an invitation, you will receive a notification via email and through a banner in your Dribbble account. To accept via an email link, make sure you log in to the correct Dribbble account and follow the instructions provided in the email. Alternatively, log in and click 'Accept' on the invite banner on the homepage.
How do I know if I am a Player or a Prospect?
Once you accept your invitation, your account will appear the same but will no longer have the same limitations.
