When you enable Quick Hire, clients can instantly book and pay for your Service with no upfront discussions. The project is funded immediately and added to your Ongoing Projects, committing you to start the work as soon as it’s booked. This option is ideal for Services with a consistent, repeatable scope and fixed budget.
Even with Quick Hire enabled, clients can still choose to make a Service request and discuss the project before paying.
What If I Don’t Want Clients to Book Instantly?
If you prefer more flexibility, you can choose not to enable Quick Hire. Instead, your Service will act as a starting point for inquiries, allowing clients to contact you for more details before proceeding with a custom proposal.
Setting the Project Duration
When planning the Project Duration for Quick Hire projects, it's important to consider extra time for project intake tasks, like initial client meetings and file sharing. By factoring in these steps, you'll help ensure your clients know exactly what to expect and feel confident the project is on track from the start.
For Quick Hire projects, the due date will be based on the project duration you’ve selected and calculated from the purchase date.
Managing Your Schedule
When clients select Quick Hire, they’re expecting to start work right away. Be sure to manage your schedule carefully and turn Quick Hire off when you’re at capacity to avoid being overbooked.
In the future, we plan to introduce even more tools to help you manage your work queue, set project capacity, and give you greater control over your time and project scheduling.
