Your response time is visible in Designer Search and lets clients know when they can expect a reply after sending you a Project Request.
When clients come to Dribbble, they are often excited to begin discussing the details of their projects and designers who respond the same day tend to have a higher chance of winning projects.
How Response Times Are Calculated
Your response time is calculated based on your median time to reply to the first message in a new Project Request. We only consider your recent activity (within the last 90 days), so if you're hoping to reduce your displayed response time, you should be able to quickly improve.
Here are the categories that may be displayed on your Designer Seach profile:
- Responds in about 1 hour
- Responds in about 2 hours
- Responds in about 3 hours
- Responds within a few hours
- Responds within a day
- Responds within a few days
- Responds within a week
What Counts as a Reply
It's important to respond to every project request you receive to keep a low response time. To make that easy, we include a variety of actions that will count as a 'reply' to help you triage requests quickly, even when you're not interested in the project. The following actions will count as a reply:
- Message Reply
- Proposal Created
- Decline Request
- Mark as Spam
Understanding and managing your response time on Dribbble is key to your success in securing projects. With these tools available, it should be simple to manage incoming Project Requests and get back to every client quickly and professionally.
