Setting Up Bank Transfers with Stripe Connect

This article will explain how to get started with Stripe Connect, which allows you to receive payments directly to your bank account.

Why Stripe Connect?

Stripe Connect is a reliable and secure service that ensures your payments are processed efficiently. Once you're set up, payments from clients will go directly to your bank account, making it easy to manage your earnings on Dribbble.

Setting Up Stripe Connect

1. Visit your Account Settings and navigate to the Payouts tab.
2. Click on Connect Now, then choose your location, then select Stripe; you'll be redirected to Stripe's website, where you’ll be guided through the setup process. Follow the guide here if you need additional help.
3. Provide Required Information. Information requirements may vary by location, but generally, you’ll need to provide any/all of the following:
   • Full Legal Name: As it appears on your identification documents.
   • Date of Birth: To verify your identity and ensure you meet age requirements.
   • Home Address: Your residential address (used for verification purposes).
   • Phone Number: For contact and two-step verification purposes.
   • Business Name, Address, website, and other details
   • Name(s) of Business Owner(s)
   • Tax Identification Number (TIN): This could be your Social Security Number (SSN), Employer Identification Number (EIN), or other tax ID, depending on your country.
   • Bank Account Number: The number of the account where you wish to receive payments.
   • Bank Routing Number: Used to identify your bank for domestic transfers.
   • Bank Name: The name of your bank.
   • Bank Account Type: Indicate whether your account is a checking or savings account.
   • SWIFT/BIC Code: Identifies your bank for international transfers.
4. Once your setup is complete, your Payout tab will update to say, “Your Stripe account is connected.
5. The setup is complete. You’re all set to start sending proposals and receiving payments.
