We've established these policies to ensure our job board remains a trusted resource for job seekers in the design community. These guidelines are designed to maintain the quality of our listings and to ensure a positive experience for both employers and applicants.
-
Include a clear way to apply. All ‘Apply Now’ buttons should direct the designer to the specific role's application form. If a dedicated job application page is unavailable, consider using free platforms like Google Forms or Typeform. Jobs without a clear way to apply may miss out on interested designers.
💡Always ensure your application or form is publicly available (outside of your organization).
-
Listing Maintenance: Regularly update your job listings and promptly remove them when positions are filled or no longer available. Job posts that link to closed applications or 404 pages are a bad experience for job seekers and reflect poorly on the hirer.
-
Compensation: All job listings must clearly state the form of compensation, be it a paid position or freelance work.
-
No Competitions, Test Tasks or Spec Work: We do not accept listings that include any unpaid form of design work. Unsure if your role qualifies, this resource may be helpful.
- No Advertising: Our job spaces may not be used to solicit designers to use your product or service. All listings must be hiring for immediate design work rather than potential future engagements.
-
Equal Opportunity: Ensure that all job listings adhere to principles of equal opportunity and non-discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected status.
-
Remote Work and Location: Clearly indicate whether the position is remote, hybrid, requires on-site presence, or specify the location (e.g., city, state, country) if not remote.
-
Language and Communication: Ensure that job listings are written in clear and professional language, free from discriminatory or offensive content. Job listings can be in any language, but must have an English translation presented at the top.
⚠️ We reserve the right to take down any job listing that doesn't adhere to our guidelines. Our goal is to connect designers with real opportunities, so it’s important we maintain a job board that's both up-to-date and professional.
